Jeffrey Mercado, MBA, CFP®
Jeffrey is the Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Law Firm Banking division. Prior to joining Sterling, Mr. Mercado spent nearly 20 years at Wells Fargo in a variety of roles, most recently as a Senior Private Banker in the Legal Specialty Group, where served as a key strategic resource for the nation’s leading law firms, leading a team of specialists to provide law firm banking solutions and services. These included corporate trust and escrow services, lines of credits, partner capital loans and lines, life insurance premium financing and retirement advisory services.
Mr. Mercado received his MBA degree from Columbia Business School, his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Maryland and earned the CFP® designation by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc.
Mr. Mercado lives in Long Island with his wife and son. He previously served as a Board member of El Museo in New York City.
