October 27-28, 2019Long Island Chapter First Annual Retreat Our first annual Long Island Chapter retreat was held at the East Wind Resort and Spa in Wading River. We visited Woodside Orchards and Long Island Spirits on Sunday afternoon and ended the day with dinner at the Cooperage Inn in Baiting Hollow. The time that we spent together on Sunday allowed us to get to know each other better which strengthened the connections that we have as a group that supports its members as Firm Administrators and as colleagues. On Monday, we started the day with a yoga session, taught by our own member Tricia Tesauro Gray, who is a certified yoga instructor. We continued the morning with an HR roundtable and a motivational speaker, Joshua Evans. Our retreat ended with lunch at the East Wind’s restaurant, Desmond’s. Everyone agreed that this was a fun, educational experience and one that we will be excited to plan for in the future. Below are some of the comments that we received from members that attended the retreat.

We continue with a discussion on developing a program and – hearing from those who have been down this path already – their pain points. Our business partners from Ivionics and Chips Technology Group present
